Delete your data or your account
You can delete your En Contacto account at any time, from inside the app or the website. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete only some of your data
You do not have to close your account to remove things from it. Each of these can be deleted on its own, at any time, and takes effect immediately.
- •A digital card — open your dashboard, find the card and choose Delete. Its public link and QR code stop working straight away.
- •A captured contact — open Captured Leads, find the contact and delete it.
- •A custom domain — open your domain settings and choose Remove.
Deleting a card is permanent, and anyone holding a printed QR code for it will reach a page that no longer exists. Export anything you want to keep first.

How to delete your account
- 1Sign in to your account at encontacto.io or in the En Contacto Android app.
- 2Open Settings from the dashboard.
- 3Scroll to Delete Account.
- 4Type your email address to confirm, then confirm the deletion.
If you belong to a company workspace, leave the workspace first. Members cannot delete their account while they hold a seat, because their cards and leads belong to the workspace.
If you cannot sign in
Email us from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. We may ask you to confirm ownership before we act. support@encontacto.io
What is deleted
- ✓Your account and profile
- ✓Every digital card you created, and its public link and QR code
- ✓Every lead captured on your cards
- ✓Your analytics history
- ✓Any custom domains connected to your account
- ✓Any workspace you own
What is kept, and why
Any active subscription is cancelled first. Records of payments you have already made are kept by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We cannot delete those, and they are held by Paddle rather than by us.
How long it takes
Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period and no recovery window, so please export anything you want to keep before you start.
