One pass, generated from the card you already have. On a phone it is added directly; on a computer you are given a QR code to scan with your phone, which is the quickest way to get it onto a device you are not currently holding.
The pass carries your card's QR code, your name and your company. Someone scans it straight off your screen and lands on your card — the same card, with the same details, that your link and your NFC tag point at.

The pass is stored on the phone itself rather than fetched when you open it, so it works with no signal at all — a conference hall with no reception, a plane, a building with thick walls. That is the practical difference between a wallet pass and a bookmark, and it is why the pass is the thing to reach for at an event.
It is also faster than finding a browser. On iPhone, double-click the side button; on Android, open Google Wallet. Either way the code is on screen in about a second, which matters when somebody is holding out their phone waiting.

Wallet passes come with Pro at $7 a month and with Team at $10 per seat per month, three seats minimum. They are not sold separately, because a pass is a way of carrying the card rather than a feature in its own right — if you have a paid plan, you have this.

- Does the pass update when I change my card?
- The QR code on the pass points at your card's address, so any change to your photo, job title, links or design shows up immediately for anyone who scans it. There is nothing to regenerate and nothing to re-add.
- Does the other person need a wallet app?
- No. The pass is on your phone, not theirs. They point their camera at the code and their browser opens your card. Nothing is installed on their side.
- Can I have the pass on more than one device?
- Yes. Generate it again from the dashboard on the other device, or scan the QR code the dashboard shows you. There is no limit and no per-device charge.
- What happens to the pass if my plan ends?
- The pass stays on your phone, but the card it points at follows the same rule as everything else: your account keeps one live card, and any others serve a short page saying the card is no longer active. Re-subscribe and it works again immediately.
- Does it work with a custom domain?
- Yes. If you have a verified custom domain, the pass encodes your own address rather than ours — company.com/yourname — so what somebody scans matches the rest of your branding.
